Eltelt jonehany nap, hogy nem jutottam, net kozelbe. Tulvagyok eletem legmagasabb "haloszobajan" (5100m), voltam az Everest eszaki alaptaboraban, ott sikerult vegre egyedul is ucsorogni nehany orat (5200m) kifogtuk a jo idot annak ellenre hogy mar javaban itt a monszun. Estere el is romlott az ido, igy a "nagy hegy" nem mutatta magat a lemeno nap fenyeben, (sajna a masnap a felkeloben sem….) A kocsog kinaiak felviszik az aszfalt utatat jovore az alaptaborba, mert a az olimpiai langot is fel akarjak vinni. Szerintem ez nem fog jot tenni a termeszetnek (dehat engem nem kerdeztek meg!!!)
Azota "erdekes" utepiteseken es a tibeti(kinai)-nepali hataron keresztul visszaertunk Nepalba, a hatar utan nehany kilometerrel toltottuk az elmult 3 napot, turazassal a tropusi domboldalakon.

Several days have passed untill I managed to get to internet again. In the meantime I experienced my highest "bedroom" at 5100m just below the north base camp of Mt. Everest, where I managed to sit and look for a few hours alone. Luckily the weather was perfect although we are right in the monsoon season. By the same evening the great weather was gone, the "great mountain" did not show herself anymore in the sunset light… (unfortunately not even the next morning sunrise…) The crazy chinese want to build the road till Everest BC by next year to let the olimpic flame to be taken up there. I think this will not be too good for nature (they did not ask me…)
Then through interesting road constructions we reached the Tibetian-Nepali border, stayed a few days trekking in the tropical nepali landscape.

Ismet egy kolostor, szerzetesekkel es zarandokokkal, az ejjeli zivatarnak nyoma sincs, gyonyoru napsutes, kifejezetten fotozasra es videozasra lett teremtve a nap. A zarandokok annyira jo fejek, mosolyognak, ismerkednek, fotoztatjak magukat. A kolostor egyik kapolnajaban epp imakat enekel az egyik szerzetes, miutan fizettem neki 1 tizest hagyja is hogy videozzak. A hangulat oriasi, zarandokok jonnek, imaolajat ontenek a mecsesekbe, orajarasaval megegyezo iranyba bejarjak a kapolnat. (csak a kocsog nemet ne beszelne ilyen hangosan….)
Sajnos megint idohiany, a Kumbumra jut 30perc, ami nagyon keves a 6 emeletre, minden egtaj iranyaba 1 szentely, hatalmas buddha szobrokkal. Var a terepjaro, irany Shigatse.

Today another monastery in Gyantse, Monk, pilgrims included of course. The rain of the night has gone, beautiful sunshine, the day is meant to be for photograpy and filming. Most pilgrims are so nice, the are smiling, communicating wants us to make pictures of them. In one of the chapels on monk is praying, singing songs, and making music. After paying him Y10 he lets me shoot video in the chapel, pilgrims are coming, pouring prayer oil to the candles, clockwise wander around in the chapel (wish the germans wouldn’t be so loud talking…)
Again lack of time… Only 30 minutes left for the Kumbum, which is far less for the 6 floors of chapels, including ones in cardinal directions with huge buddha statues.

Ma egy igen hosszu terepjaros tura vart rank, kb 350km. Lhasabol eloszor a Yamdrok Tso fele tertunk ki, meg szerettuk volna nezni ezt a turkizkek csoda tokompoziciot, a hago ahonnan elmeletben latni lehetne 4794m-en van (Kamba La), de sajnos kifogtuk szerintem az ev egyetlen felhos napjat igy rovid varakozas es tisztulas utan a to egyik veget lehetett nemileg sejteni. Utepites miatt nem tudtunk a Deli Baratsag fouton haladni, igy vissza kellett menni az eszakira, majd leterni errol az utrol, es foldutakon, vizmosasokon, teljes holdbeli sivatagos tajon es egy 4970m-es hagon at ertunk Gyantse varosaba (ez Tibet 4. varosa).

Today we were looking forward to a pretty long LandCruiser ride, about 350km. From Lhasa we first diverted to Yamdrok Tso to have a look at this wonderfull Turquoise lake at around 4500m. The pass where we should have seen the lake was t 4794m (Kamba La), but it seems we had the only cloudy day of the year so we could hardly see a near bank of the lake after a short wait. Due to road constructions we could not continue on the Southern Friendship Highway, we had to go back to the North one. After about another 100km, we turned south to continue in a river bed, on mud road, through the moonlike landscape to a pass at 4970m, then down to Gyantse (4th town of Tibet)

Az elmult 2 nap is fantasztikus volt, belecsoppenni a buddhizmus valosagaba, a Tibeti kolostorok vilagaba /Jokhang, Potala, Ganden, Sera/ ! Sajnos a net annyira lassu, hogy nem fog sikerulni kifejteni amit szerettem volna es kepeket feltolteni, mert ez igy nem megy… mar kb 1 oraja ulok itt es csak az elozot sikerult megirnom, igerem amint lesz hasznlahato net azonnal bepotolom 🙂
A lenyeg elmondhatatlan amit latunk, erzunk, tapasztalunk!!!
Holnap elhagyjuk Lhasa-t terepjarokkal utazunk par szaz kilometert. Nem tudom mikor jutok legkozelebb nethez….
Ma mar egesz jo volt magashegyi betegsegnek csak pici fejfajas volt a maradvanya, annak ellenere hogy ma mar 4200m-en is voltunk!

The previous two days were so great, get a deep impression of Budhism though the monasteries in and around Lhasa /Jokhang, Potala, Ganden, Sera/. Unfortunately the net connection is very slow, so I will not be able to upload pix anymore… I am sitting here for more than an hour, I promised that I will not sitt to much in fron of a computer here! I will catch up as soon as possible, I promise!
The important is that there are no words for what we saw, felt, experienced!
Tomorrow we will leave Lhasa with Land Cruisers, drive a few hundred kilometers. I have no idea when will be the next time I will be able to use internet!
Today I had just a small simptom of AMS, just a small headache, although we were up to 4200m.

Korai keles utan irany a repter! Az ido szokasos munszuni, paras meleg. A repteren a biztonsagi ellenorzesek kicsit viccesek, de sebaj, egy felejthetetlen repulesnek nezunk elebe.
Felszallas utan emelkedes felhokon at, 10000m-re, majd hamarosan balra feltunik a Himalaja vonulata, kozepen az Everestel (persze en jobboldara kapta ules…) szerencsere az egesz sor a mienk volt igy meg tudtam kerni a csoporttarsakat, nehany foto elkeszitesere…
Megerkeztunk Tibetbe! Kb 1 ora busz a repterrol, elso latvany a Potala, azt hittem csak a kepeken ilyen hatalmas es lenyugozo, hat nagyot tevedtem eloben sokkat inkabb az!!! Ezt igazabol szerintem nem is lehet elmeselni, aki latta kepen, filmen az nagyon messze van az igazsagtol. Meg az sem tudta kedvemet szegni, hogy szemben a palotaval egy "modern" emlekmu lathato… meg nehany bevasarlo kozpont, igazi kinai forgatag (sajnos).
Szallas, bepakolas utan szabad program gyanant meglatogattuk a Barkhor negyedet, hat nem semmi, zarandokok, szerzetesek, imamalmok, mecses illat.

After an early wakeup we go the airport, to look forward to an unforgettable flight in the usual monsoon weather. The security checks are pretty funny (just a bunch of batteries are taken), but never mind the few minutes before the ascent to 33000 feet, to realise the Himalayas on the left side with the Everest in the middle (of course my seat was on the right side). Luckily the whole row was our group so it was no problem to ask someone to take a few pix…
After landing at Gonkar Airport 3500m!!! and an hour of bus ride I saw with my own eyes the Potala in Lhasa, which I tougth was gorgious after the seeing it in pictures and films, I can assure you it is far more that that: seeing "live" it was breathtaking!! Leaving the luggages at the hotel left us a few hours spare time to adventure into Barkhor to get the first sight of monks and local people sorrounding the Barkhor. Not to forget the smell of lamps…

Hajnalban itteni ido szerint 0640kor megerkeztunk Kathmanduba, a vicces az volt, hogy a Qatar Air repulon magyar volt a kapitany(Hegedus Laszlo), sajna nem lehetett bemenni, mert szigoruak… Itt mar javaban monszun van, sokszor csopog, rendes paras meleg van, a fergeteg eleg erdekes, minden percben riksaval, taxival akarnak elvinni, valami el akarnak adni. Nem tudtam mivel kezdjek Foto? Video? Hangfelvetel? vegul a foto es a hangfelvetel mellett dontottem! Most ebed utan, mar eleg almosan, hiszen gyakorlatilag mostmar napok ota alig alszom, az idoeltolodas itt +3.75ora az otthonihoz kepest. Holnap reggel 6kor keles irany a repter es Lhasa.

We have arrived to Kathmandu this morning at 0640, it was kind of funny to find that our captain at Qatar Airw. was a Hungarian guy, unfortunately no cockpit visit was possible…
Monsoon is all here, it is raining pretty often, humidity is very high. All the chaos, and the locals are quite interesting, every minute they want to take you with a riksaw or cab, or just want to sell you something. For some time I had no idea what to start with video? photo? or record the ambience? Finally I decided to take pictures and make some ambience recordings. Now it is just after lunch, I very sleepy, since there was almost no sleep in the last few days. Time difference is 5.75h+GMT. Tomorrow at 6 wake-up then direct to the airport to catch the flight to Lhasa.

Ma reggel elindult a nagy tura, BUD-FRA, jo kezekben voltam, a szomszed Gabor vitt, annyira hogy felugyeltem is az egesz repulest a pilotafulkebol 🙂 ezt megegyszer koszonom a szemelyzetnek… Imadni valo gep ez a F70!! Frankfurtban rovid varakozas utan indulas Qatar Airwaysel (A330) Dohaba! FL370, PUSTA-Szeged vonalon atrepultunk magyarorszag folott, majd kb 6 ora repules utan megerkeztunk Dohaba. Innen irom ezeket a sorokat, kint kb 40fok, mar sotet ejszaka a terminalban meg lehet fagyni a klimatol… meg 3 ora es irany Kathmandu! Nepal a nagy alom…
Remelem kesobb is tudok majd jelentkezni! Udv mindenkinek!

Today the great tour started! BUD-Frankfurt with Malev F70 thanx to the crew (my neighbour) I was in good hands! A few hours in FRA then all the way back through Hungary to Doha (6 hour flight). Outside it was already dark, and 40 degrees, in the terminal it is freezing cold thanks to the airconditioning. 3 more hours in Doha (these lines are also coming from there)then further around 6 hour flight to Kathmandu where the great dream starts to become true!
I hope I will be able to report later too! Greetings to all!

Elkezdődőtt a visszaszámlálás: Még 1 hét…
aztán kezdetét veszi a nagy kalad, egy régi álom…
(az igazsághoz hozzátartozik, hogy nagy álom azért csak-csak nepál volt mindig is, amivel ez a mostani túra is indul, majd végződik). Közte pedig a TIBET, Lhasa és az Everest Északi alaptábora (ahol az épp ma hazatért AHICO Everest Expedíció (2007) Klein Dávid és Várkonyi László is járt néhány nappal ezelőtt, akiknek ezúton is szeretnék gratulálni a mászásukhoz!)

Mivel a túra folyamán nem lesz mobil telefon, emaileket sem fogok olvasni, ha netközelbe kerülök akkor ezen a blogon tudatom mindenkivel épp merre járunk, emellett próbálok 1-2 képet is majd feltenni.

A tűra felszerelései között természetesen megtalálható lesz egy filmes fényképező, mégpedig diafilmmel, így utána nagyszabású vetítéseket fogok tartani! 🙂 Emellett egy HDV kamera is lesz a "fedélzeten" igy nagyfelbontású TV formátumban is megörökítésre kerül a túra teljes útvonala.
