Korai keles utan irany a repter! Az ido szokasos munszuni, paras meleg. A repteren a biztonsagi ellenorzesek kicsit viccesek, de sebaj, egy felejthetetlen repulesnek nezunk elebe.
Felszallas utan emelkedes felhokon at, 10000m-re, majd hamarosan balra feltunik a Himalaja vonulata, kozepen az Everestel (persze en jobboldara kapta ules…) szerencsere az egesz sor a mienk volt igy meg tudtam kerni a csoporttarsakat, nehany foto elkeszitesere…
Megerkeztunk Tibetbe! Kb 1 ora busz a repterrol, elso latvany a Potala, azt hittem csak a kepeken ilyen hatalmas es lenyugozo, hat nagyot tevedtem eloben sokkat inkabb az!!! Ezt igazabol szerintem nem is lehet elmeselni, aki latta kepen, filmen az nagyon messze van az igazsagtol. Meg az sem tudta kedvemet szegni, hogy szemben a palotaval egy "modern" emlekmu lathato… meg nehany bevasarlo kozpont, igazi kinai forgatag (sajnos).
Szallas, bepakolas utan szabad program gyanant meglatogattuk a Barkhor negyedet, hat nem semmi, zarandokok, szerzetesek, imamalmok, mecses illat.
After an early wakeup we go the airport, to look forward to an unforgettable flight in the usual monsoon weather. The security checks are pretty funny (just a bunch of batteries are taken), but never mind the few minutes before the ascent to 33000 feet, to realise the Himalayas on the left side with the Everest in the middle (of course my seat was on the right side). Luckily the whole row was our group so it was no problem to ask someone to take a few pix…
After landing at Gonkar Airport 3500m!!! and an hour of bus ride I saw with my own eyes the Potala in Lhasa, which I tougth was gorgious after the seeing it in pictures and films, I can assure you it is far more that that: seeing "live" it was breathtaking!! Leaving the luggages at the hotel left us a few hours spare time to adventure into Barkhor to get the first sight of monks and local people sorrounding the Barkhor. Not to forget the smell of lamps…
